Novel Abode is an Interior Design firm founded by Kelly Walsh. Rooted in passion for interiors and a love of storytelling, Novel Abode focuses on bringing a library of bespoke design services to their clients. Whether you are looking to breathe a bit of new life into your space or give a room a complete makeover, Novel Abode can help you create spaces that have depth and custom touches.
As a firm, our style draws inspiration from the traditional but casual nature of a seaside New England town and the airy, laid back features of a coastal California beach house. We love blues, whites and bits of green to ground us. Our goal is ultimately to curate spaces that feel refined and lived in.
MEET KELLY
After spending over a decade in the luxury travel industry working for hotel brands such as Four Seasons, One&Only, and Aman, it was time for Kelly to spread her creative wings. That’s when she made the decision to launch Novel Abode Interiors.
Owing to her background in high-touch luxury hospitality, combined with her earnest passion for design, Kelly’s approach begins with making meaningful, genuine connections with her clients. This is the foundation she lays to curate spaces that are both beautiful, functional and tell a story.
Kelly is based in Rye, New York. On her off days she can be spotted hanging with her boys: her husband, Charlie, her two sons, Beau and Paddy, and her energetic golden retriever, Bodhi.
